As now there is a huge buzz about Rich Internet Application, which is not very complex to learn and to implement, its rather a quicker way to achieve smaller automation goal with very less resources. However you can not make money tree with RIA and nor it can replace the mainstream programming needs where performance and unique intellect is required.
